Worship
Sunday Worship
Sundays at 9:00am
Our worship services are liturgical, which means we try to stay rooted in the historical worship of the church dating back to the 2nd century! We gather as a community, listen and learn from God’s Word together, and receive Holy Communion. Plan to engage and participate in worship through hearing God’s Word, participating in Holy Communion, or just through your quiet presence. Sermons that are authentic, relatable and relevant to daily life. We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

Sundays at 10:30am (Resumes September 15, 2024)
This intentionally intergenerational worship service does not mirror the 9:00am service, though the pattern of worship and songs will be similar.
At the 10:30am service, children and space for children are front and center. Elements from the prayground are located near the chancel and children are welcome to participate from the front. The liturgy reflects the Lutheran tradition with piano-led music that is easy to follow and repetitive for those who cannot read music.
As we lean into intergenerational hospitality, all people will not only be welcomed but encouraged to find their place as full participants and, if they choose, worship leaders. Children and youth will have increased opportunities to serve in leadership as ushers, communion servers, readers, musicians and worship assistants alongside adults.
Families and children will be able to worship together and kids will be expected to be kids. In conjunction with our aim for intergenerational worship and welcome, there will not be SPARK or nursery provided. Children, youth and adults are welcome to be their full selves in worship.
Wednesday Prime Time Worship
Wednesdays at 6:00pm
We meet in Steiner Hall (opposite the sanctuary) from 6:00 to 7:00pm. This timing allows for SPARK students and their families to attend after programming and for BYG and IGNITE students and their families to attend worship before programming. Prime Time worship is led by the Prime Time Band and is less traditional than our Sunday services. Families and individuals are welcome to bring their evening meal. Tables are set up to accommodate those who bring meals. We celebrate Holy Communion on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Because a majority of “Prime Time” worship attendees are in our Faith Formation programs we cancel “Prime Time” worship when there are no Wednesday night programs, such as MEA Wednesday and the Wednesday of Thanksgiving week. Come and check out “Prime Time,” all are welcome!
